Well I must compliment Matthew and Andrew Glover on Conservatory Outlet, I had the pleasure of visiting there main manufacturing site this week and found it to be a really nice place to be. A strange comment you may say to describe a window manufacturing operation, but I speak as I find.
I arrived somewhat bleary after a 5 hour drive to be met by Matthew, always smiling and happy to chat about lots of different things (the opposite to Andrew really) (that was a joke Andrew no Knee capping or threats again please).
We immediately went straight into the manfacturing area, windows were being made in fact it was one of my jobs, what really impressed me was the amount of care that seemed to be being taken when handling and moving the frames, everything seemed to be working with a smooth efficiency no shouting and swearing, just a steady flow of windows being manufactured. At this point Mick Giscombe arrived and it was then I realised exactly why the Renegade Conservatory Guy wouldn’t want to get in a ring with him. How can I put it he’s not tall but stocky and you know you wouldn’t want to be on the end of a slap, anyway back to the windows. The thing that impressed me the most was the attention to detail reverse butt welds polished out!! (fantastic my fitters said that they could tell they’d been made well, compliments from my fitters don’t come along very often) the door section again quietly efficient and the doors I tried perfect opening and set just right.. Mick the guys who manufacture the windows are a credit to you and Matthew.
After the factory tour we went onto West Yorkshire Windows, there I met Andrew Glover and Jo there Sales Manager and we discussed quite a few different business issues the amount of information I gained from them on that visit was invaluable, it was stuff I already knew alot of the time but they just made me see sense on a few points. I felt that these guys really want you to do well as a dealer. There ethos is if I do well they do well and it’s not just one of those statements they really meen it.
Thanks for the time you gave me the other day guys I really appreciate it, anyone out there that needs a good frame supplier who is not only interested in taking your money and has a keen interest in you being succesful you’d better give them a call 01924 239813….
I’ve only been back with them three weeks but they’ve impressed me so far.
